台灣同志諮詢熱線協會今天(15日)在台北霞海城隍廟舉行「神明疼眾人，新年求平權」記者會，廟方人員帶領同志伴侶祭拜神明，藉此強調台灣民俗信仰支持所有形式的愛。同志諮詢熱線協會也與插畫家合作，推出3款象徵婚姻平權的紅包袋與春聯，希望讓家中長輩與更多人都能接觸相關議題。
台灣同志諮詢熱線協會15日上午在台北霞海城隍廟舉行記者會，男性同志伴侶蔡尚文與吳先生在廟方人員的帶領下祭拜神明，祈求月老守護愛情，也祈求城隍夫人庇護同志成家。
蔡尚文表示，他從小生活在民俗信仰裡，他大學時一個人到霞海城隍廟祈求戀情，之後也順利認識了另一半吳先生，兩人交往已4年多，並獲得雙方家長支持，他希望民法修正案能順利通過，他會帶著喜餅來廟中還願。他說：『(原音)我在大學的時候，我就一個人來到這邊祈求屬於我自己的紅線，也很感謝月老的幫忙，就是我有一段好的姻緣，也希望在這次民法修正案成功後，我能有機會拿著我自己的喜餅來到這邊還願，感謝月老還有城隍夫人在這段時間的幫忙跟協助。』
同志諮詢熱線協會資深研究員曹承羲指出，由於年節將至，協會特地與3位當紅的圖文插畫家合作，包括「鼻妹」、「少女阿妙」、「Lobster」，推出3款「雞吉平權紅包袋暨春聯」，婚姻平權「小蜜蜂志工」將在全台北、中、南、東20個據點以及年貨大街免費發送3萬份。
此外，記者會也邀來同志家長郭媽媽到場力挺，郭媽媽表示，他的女兒15歲就向她出櫃，她很感謝反對婚姻平權的人讓這個議題浮上檯面。她說，即將就要過年圍爐，她認為今年是難得的機會，很多同志平常沒有機會跟長輩提到這個話題，希望這款紅包袋能成為每個孩子的「破口」，讓爸媽有機會了解婚姻平權。
大華科技大學於十一月十八日迎接四十九周年校慶，邀請各界貴賓、校友會優惠專區、家長、在校學生、海青班、陸生班、樂齡大學、竹東社大、竹北社大、等一起共渡歡樂的校慶。

本年度由新竹縣陳見賢副議長榮獲「榮譽校友」；「傑出校友」則由「芎林鄉鄉民代表會主席黃正彪」、「寶山鄉公所主任秘書鄧榮斌」、「蘇思鴻律師事務所律師蘇思鴻」、「東海大學助理教授張國賓」等人獲得殊榮，以作為學弟妹的表率。
